Gaussian splats offer an efficient way to visualize 3D environments, and some have successfully integrated them into Cesium using custom methods (example). Adding support for Gaussian splats in iModel would enable seamless visualization of reality capture data, improving workflows for model comparison, site analysis, and infrastructure monitoring.
