can we develop 'Duplicate or save-as' functionality available in Bentley iModel, allowing users to avoid repeatedly uploading models through connections? Our objective is to create iModels for Certain purposes such as Project Package review, for IDR, SID, and sustainability purposes.
Thanks for the update, John Florence! that's really great id we have that function. additionally if we can have not just a save-as function but dependent iModel function so we can have to update just one iModel and the dependent will update at the same time.
Yes, this is coming. We have Clone iModel API released as a technical preview in the iModels API. Once it is generally available, we will enable this feature in iModel Manager in Connect.
